3. Given a source of geographic information (YOU CHOOSE), describe a method to test it for each of the four testable components of data quality. Describe possible sources to use, techniques to apply, and possible limitations. (20 points)

4. Given that much of mapping decisions are far hidden from the public agenda, there is still a responsibility to make technical decisions with the public interest in mind. Kurt Bauer has stated on a number of occasions that if you overinvest in map accuracy, the part of excess accuracy might well be wasted, but if you underinvest, the whole investment might be wasted. Do you agree? Does Bauer's statement apply to all aspects of data quality? Is there anything missing in Bauer's logic? (20 points)
