Field trip !
LUC: The Land Use Code in the King County Asessor's file is a three digit
number. We will be visiting the NW corner of Tile 339, primarily along 9th
Avenue north of the Convention Place bus station.
Take the 71/72/73 express bus from campus to Convention Place station.
9th Ave. is the street above. Proceed Northwards (well, NW actually) past
the Greyhound station to get into the tile.

Each student should have surveyed a series of parcels in the process of
the field trip. (Those who did not attend can obtain the list and go on
a self-guided trip...)
Deliverable:
- Produce a summary of the results of the test.
- Figure out what to report and how to report it.
- You might want to consider if the parcel units were sufficiently identifiable
in the field, whether a count of parcels is the right way to report things
(consider what else you could do).
- Please consider how "far" the differences are? Are the land
use codes sufficiently similar for some kinds of uses? How would you describe
this loose idea of differences?
- What are the "largest" differences you found? (What is the
largest land use in the area (caution, this is a trick question...)
