The final exam will occur on Monday 17 March from 2:30-4:20 in 271 Mary Gates Hall.

Geometric computation:

• Line intersection
• Douglas-Peucker line generalization (distance from line)
• mathematics behind coordinate systems

Geodesy:

• Explain a Datum
• Practical consequences of the datum shirt

Projections:

• Basics of projection parameters: central meridian, standard parallels, offset origin
• Lambert Conformal Conic
• UTM
• "the map is tilted"

Object Orientation:

• Basic expectations for objects
• ArcObjects...

Exam questions will not dive into huge technical detail.
